Founder and Art Director

Kristin Vogel is the Founder and Art Director of Vogel Nest with an eye for innovation and clean design. She has experience working in all design disciplines, but her expertise lies in brand identity design, production design, graphic illustration and social media. As a visual and strategically focused designer, Kristin strives to come up with ideas that are completely unique and unexpected.

Fun fact: Kristin is also an identical twin

Shannon Vogel
 Founder and Art Director

Shannon Vogel is the Founder and Art Director for Vogel Nest. She considers teamwork to be essential and thoroughly enjoys collaborating with colleagues and external consultants. Her curiosity and eagerness to learn makes her a forward thinking designer. Clients will agree, her passionate energy is contagious and you can expect any project directed by her to be nothing less than excellent.

Fun Fact: Shannon has traveled to 14 countries (and still counting)

Like a flock of birds, the Vogel Nest Flock works collaboratively towards one shared goal.
The designers specialize in various fields and areas, but all of them have come together in a
cooperative design process to make effective and aesthetically pleasing creative content.
The Flock ​come from very different backgrounds and have a passion for travel 
and art, giving them a unique identity and a worldly art direction.  

Allison O'Brien
​Graphic Designer, Digital Illustrator, and Content Writer

Since she was young, Allison always had a passion for illustration. She spent many hours doodling anime characters in notebooks and creating her own comic strips.

As a Korean adoptee, Allison decided to travel and work in South Korea, which has given her work an international direction and client base. She has written and illustrated a children's book based on her travels, and has been to over 5 different countries throughout Asia. 

Fun Facts: When she is not busy with work, Allison is an aspiring makeup artist, fashion enthusiast, blog writer, and foodie.

Kaitlin Vogel
Editor and Content Writer

​Kaitlin has worked as a professional writer and editor in New York City for over five years. Looking back, Kaitlin is happy she followed her third-grade teacher’s advice to pursue writing as a career. Since then, she’s moved from schoolgirl crush poems to health and psychology columns. 

​Fun Facts: When she’s not writing and editing (which is rare), you can find her running, relaxing on a beach somewhere or watching psychological thrillers.

Kaylyn Hamel
Graphic Designer, and Illustrator 

Kaylyn Hamel is a passionate, collaborative graphic designer, whose focus includes presentation design, layout design, illustration and hand lettering. Armed with both traditional sensibilities and a love of the new and unfamiliar,
Kaylyn can easily adapt to the unique requirements of any design engagement.

Fun Fact: Kaylyn is not a twin, but is currently accepting applications.

Kyong Ah (Jenny) Lee
Graphic and Motion Designer

Jenny Lee is a motion graphic designer and illustrator. She leads projects with her own creative flair while keeping the look in line with clients’ visions. Passionate about great design, Jenny approaches new opportunities with a fresh and innovative outlook, making use of her years of fine arts and graphic design background.

Fun Fact: Jenny has a cat named Cat. 

Hyunji Kim
Animator, Illustrator, Graphic Designer

Hyunji Kim has been working as an animator and illustrator for 8 years. Her work spans a wide variety of industries including education, media, and technology.

Hyunji combines the right amount of art and business in creating work that satisfies both the client and audience. She is keen on detail and leaves no pixel unturned.

Fun Fact: Hyunji is currently working on publishing a children’s book.
